Histopathology
KWS BioTest has extensive expertise as a specialist pathology services provider. We can carry out routine histopathology and specialist staining/immunohistochemistry against a wide range of cell-surface markers and cytokines.
This can be carried out as a stand alone service, or in conjunction with larger studies. All of our studies are reported on by fully qualified histopathologists, and sections are prepared to high standard by our externally accredited(NEQAS) laboratory.
A selection of the main histology services include:
- Haematoxylin & Eosin staining for general pathology
- Specialist tissue stains for remodelling (e.g. collagen deposition)
- Immunohistochemistry on wax embedded or cryopreserved sections
- Image analysis
- Confocal microscopy
